Ms. Coats has had the pleasure to perform in such renowned halls as the Carnegie Hall (New York City- USA), the Elbphilharmonie (Hamburg), the Gasteig (Munich), Beethovenhaus and Beethovenhalle (Bonn), Berlin Philharmonie and the Chicago Cultural Center (USA).

As an active chamber musician, she has had the pleasure to collaborate with exceptional musicians and ensembles as the Canea Quartett (Hamburg), Octans Ensemble (Düsseldorf), and the International Chamber Artists of Chicago. Pamela Coats is also a founding member as well as the artistic director of the chamber ensemble, Sinfonietta VivazzA (Germany).

Ms. Coats orchestral experience includes ballet, opera and symphony programs as well as radio productions with the WDR Music Festival, German National Radio (Deutschlandfunk), National Public Radio (Chicago/New York/North Carolina), BundesJugendBallett- Staatsoper Hamburg, Rome Festival Orchestra, Deutsche Oper am Rhein (Düsseldorf/Duisburg) and the Gateways Music Festival in Rochester, New York.

For her solo projects (clarinet and multimedia), Pamela Coats received grants from the Deutsche Musikrat, and the Deutsche Orchester Stiftung. In 2021, Ms. Coats was awarded a stipend through the PAV_STIP Program with the visual artist, Ele Runge, from the association Kulturwerk Schleswig-Holstein to develop the art film, Stimmungen eines Fauns- which is based on the composition of the Hamburg composer, Ilse Fromm-Michaels, who was ostracized during the Nazi Regime and afterwards forgotten. This Art-Film was selected to be presented in the art exhibit, HIER &Hier at the Cultural Center, Die Drostei – Pinneberg in 2022.

Since 2022, Ms. Coats has been the Curator of the „Klang im Pavillon“ Festival in cooperation with the Kulturwerk SH e.V. which is supported by funding from the Kreis Pinneberg.

Pamela Coats is a member of GEDOK Hamburg- The Federation of Women Artists and Patrons of the Arts, DOV- The German Orchestra Association, as well as a political representative of IFM Köln- The Initiative of the Freelance Scene of Cologne and a member of the Mentoring Program „Women in Leadership within the Arts and Media“ of the Deutsche Kulturrat e.V. - The German Cultural Council.
